Sr. Platform Engineer

Lindsay Corporation is hiring a Sr. Platform Engineer within its overall AgTech organization.
Duties & Responsibilities
Assist in the day-to-day operational aspects of the software organization, including infrastructure management/monitoring, code deployment to environments/version control, code-base management, and software quality assurance
Assist in the design and implementation of build, deployment, and configuration management, along with documenting the process and policies associated with each for the software organization
Acts as the subject matter expert, mentoring others while providing technical guidance and educating team members both within and outside of the software organization on development and operations and how they fit together
Continuously monitor, explore, and recommend new technologies
Assist in the design, implementation and testing of CI/CD pipelines and quality assurance automation for the software organization
Implement and test disaster recovery plans and procedures to ensure minimal downtime for users
Conduct system tests for security and performance
Adheres to the Lindsay software organization’s coding standards and guidelines, as well as the group's various processes, policies, and procedures
Clearly communicates issues and roadblocks in order to maintain sprint scope and efficiency

Background:
Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Computer Engineering or equivalent technical education or equivalent experience.
