Data Quality Specialist
Horizons is seeking a suitably experienced Data Quality Specialist to support our regulatory function. You will be working day to day as part of our Resource Consents, and Consents Monitoring teams, while being supported by Data and Information, and Geospatial Specialists from our Information Management team.
You will be someone who can think spatially, with an innate ability to see how activities on the ground relate to data against resource consent applications and consent monitoring activities. You will also be able to draw linkages and connections between these data and wider organisational data holdings, ensuring stakeholder requirements are being met.
We're looking for someone with
Bachelor’s degree or higher in a technology or related discipline or with relevant qualification and experience to be able to deliver in this role
Experience working in local government, and ideally for regional councils or unitary authorities
At least 2-3 years' in a role focussed on data management and data quality assessment
Demonstrated ability across analytical technology, such as SQL & SSRS, Tableau, Power BI, etc
Highly adept and compelling communicator, both written and verbal.
Exceptional documentation skills, with the ability to convey complex material as clearly as possible
