Student Representative

Student Representative

A ManawaTech student representative helps their class mates connect to the local tech ecosystem. You talk with your peers about events they might be interested in, current job opportunities, the types of work available in town, and whatever else comes our way. You tell us (ManawaTech and local industry) how we can help students get through and get out into work.

We have so many companies in town looking to hire. The majority of job openings do not make it to our jobs board. People are too busy to even make the listings... We are so delighted you have chosen to study tech in the Manawatū. Look for internships and summer jobs here. Stay here when you finish. Local companies want you. Tell your class mates about the opportunities here. Invite them to local meetups and events so they can get to know what it is like to have a career in tech here.
