Product Design Engineer
We are looking for a skilled and passionate Product Design Engineer with a 'can do' attitude to join our team as we create, design and develop our client's new products through to our manufacturing operation.

What's Expected in the Job?
As a Design Engineer for Idea, you will be working with our team on existing projects delivering 'real world' value with engineering resolving to a diverse range of projects. You will have a passion for product engineering design, and be a highly-organised and self-motivated person, ready to hit the ground running in a fast-paced, supportive and exciting environment.
What Skills and Experience do I need?
Previous experience (3+ years) in a similar role.
A degree in a relevant engineering design field.
Software proficiencies in 3D CAD modelling (we use Siemens NX), FEA Simulations and Drafting.
Able to take a mechanical design from concept, into 3D CAD, through to workshop drawings.
Understanding of engineering principles, fabrication methods, DFM & DFA techniques and industry standards.
Excellent problem solving, time scheduling.
