Intermediate Asset Information Analyst
Are you passionate about data? Are you looking for a role where the information you provide has a direct impact on how things are done?
This is a full-time role, 40 hours per week, Monday to Friday.
Your focus in this role will include:
Learn the intricacies of maintaining, operating and supporting the Asset Management Information System (AMIS).
Provide operational support of AMIS to the rest of the organisation.
Assist the team with data input, research and correction
Propose and implement approved changes to improve the management and quality of asset data.
To excel in this role, you should possess the following skills and experience:
Good communication skills developed through previous customer facing experience
Have an aptitude to learn Data reporting (Power BI)
Have previously worked with data collection software (even if it’s just Microsoft Excel!).
Enjoy filling in the blanks and organising data
An understanding of the importance of data and recording data
Digital Engineer
Palmerston North City Council is seeking a Digital Engineer to join our dynamic People and Capability Group. This role is pivotal in ensuring the smooth operation, continuous improvement, and future-proofing of the Council's technology landscape. The Digital Engineer will work closely with cross-functional teams to deliver innovative digital capabilities that support various services, including Data & AI and Enterprise Applications.
This is a full-time role, 40 hours per week, Monday to Friday.
Your focus in this role will include:
Deploy, configure, and operate IT infrastructure, implement maintenance routines, and automate processes using infrastructure management tools.
Oversee complex installations and removals, ensuring adherence to safety and quality procedures.
Design, document, and deploy software configurations, and participate in reviews to ensure high-quality outcomes.
You will bring experience and expertise in managing and optimising IT infrastructure and applications and a hands-on approach to problem-solving and innovation.
To excel in this role, you should possess the following skills and experience:
A relevant Certificate or Diploma in Information Technology, Computer Science, Engineering, Mathematics, or a related discipline
Broad knowledge of cloud computing, physical infrastructure, Microsoft services, networking, and IT security.
Familiarity with IT Service Management platforms (preferably ServiceNow). PowerShell programming experience is a plus.
Asset Information Analyst
Are you an expert at analytics and data? Are you looking for a role where the information you provide has a direct impact on how things are done?
Our Asset Planning Division is in search of an experienced Asset Information Analyst to maintain and improve Infrastructure asset data. Your experience in analysing data will be useful when ensuring data is converted to information which supports the asset management planning process. Experience with PowerBi, SQL or even C# would be a huge plus along with an understanding of API’s.
Your focus in this role will include:
Maintaining, operating and supporting the Asset Management Information System (AMIS).
Provide operational support and enable routine analysis and reporting activity across all AMIS.
Be the subject matter expert in at least one of the AMIS or asset types.
Propose and implement approved changes to improve the management and quality of asset data.
To excel in this role, you should possess the following skills and experience:
A relevant tertiary qualification in Information Technology, Computer Science, Engineering, Mathematics or other applicable discipline to a minimum of a Bachelor’s degree level.
5 years’ experience in an asset management or infrastructure-related role.
Familiarity with data lifecycle management and database management principles.
Exposure to managing and maintaining Asset Management Information Systems.
