Business Intelligence Developer
Do you have a passion for analytics? We are looking for a Business Intelligence Developer to design, implement and support BI solutions for our organisation. You will work with key stakeholders to assess long-term strategic goals and explore how BI solutions could contribute to these being achieved. Your ability to look at all aspects of a project from design through to implementation will be critical in this role. You will be able to conduct research, make design recommendations, anticipate potential issues, performance-tune and maintain data integrity with these applications where necessary.
Head of Digital Solutions
Lead PNCC’s information, technology and data practices; modernise the way we work; and provide organisational leadership of the role the digital environment in achieving Palmerston North’s vision of ‘big city ambition, small city benefits’. You will be the technical authority within the organisation, working alongside the executive leadership team and collaborating with the wider team to ensure successful technology growth and development across all arms of the business. With a keen focus on high performance, delivering results and strong track record of partnering with business users, the role leads our internal technology team (approximately 22 people) to ensure that our investment in technology enables success, enhances experience and delivers value. You will bring with you, previous experience in leading people through the modernisation of all facets of technology, together with a deep understanding of best practise and experience of delivering stable and resilient systems. You’ll have a strong understanding of the existing technology landscape and future trends and how these can be practically applied at the Council.
IT Support Officer
We are looking for two IT Support roles that will provide customer focused IT support throughout Council and organisations that Council provides after hours call centre support to. You will need great problem-solving skills, with the ability to identify problems quickly and support our users with timely resolutions. We are looking for candidates with experience in a technical support role, servicing customers both directly and remotely.
