Service Desk

As part of our IT Customer Service Desk team, you will be responsible for the provision of service desk services to support Plumbing World’s over 500 internal customers and systems along with supporting our customers in the interaction of our systems with theirs. You will provide the first point of contact for IT Services and use superior customer service skills to ensure that all customers have a positive experience with IT. We have a full roadmap ahead and the role will be varied to support both existing and new systems and programs, your ability to adapt will be key.

Skills & Experience: Highly developed level of customer service; Experience in incident and problem management; Excellent communication and time management skills; A high degree of understanding and experience of Microsoft Office products (Office 2013/2016 and Windows 10); Experience with SharePoint and collaboration tools; Excellent technical skills alongside the ability to translate these to non-technical customers; 2 - 5 years experience in IT support roles; A genuine desire to give excellent, proactive service to our clients; To be a team player with a can-do, will-do attitude

Application Support

Support applications currently in production, and the smooth transfer and integration of new technologies into ‘business as usual support’ arrangements within the IT team.

You will be significantly experienced in IT projects, release management, configuration management, have worked closely with vendors and in-house development teams, and able to hit the ground running.

Skills & Experience
Strong technical experience and knowledge in supporting critical business applications
Demonstrated ability in overseeing applications and transition of software projects into business as usual support
Demonstrated first-hand experience supporting primarily Microsoft-hosted applications, although some Linux knowledge would be beneficial.
Experience with or core understanding of interfaces like Logic Apps & other Azure technologies
Proven technical and practical documentation skills
